    As Sarnor lifts the crystal with the express intent to 'use' it, it begins to crack.  Fragments of light arc across the crystal before it shatters and vanishes.  Party gains 6 exp!

    Perk Choices

    Borgrun
    Favored Enemy I: Choose 1 enemy type per day.  First attack against each enemy of this type has +10% hit chance and deals your level in bonus damage.
    Breadth of Experience I:  Gain 3 job points now, and 2 job points at level 10, 15, 20, 25, etc.  These points may not be used to raise a job capacity higher than another job capacity.
    Honey Badger:  Can treat any item as a ration of its level.  Treat self as a bedroll of your level.

    Ly'lana
    Strategic Advance I: Speed +2*level when fleeing.  May reenter combat once.
    Weapon Master I: Can learn an additional maneuver per weapon.
    Echolocation I: +30% hit chance when hit chance is impaired due to sight.  Bonus cannot exceed penalty.

    Strax
    Signature Spell I: Converts a spell slot into a signature spell slot.  Spells cast from this slot cost -15% MP.
    Counterattack I: Increases counterattack chance by 15%.
    Weave Magic I: Gain an additional spell slot that may only be used for weave spells.

    Malica
    Weapon Expertise I: Earn +15% wxp.
    Strategic Advance I: Speed +2*level when fleeing.  May reenter combat once.
    Sparkler I: Improves potency of trinkets slightly.

    Sarnor
    Cult Magic I: Gain an additional spell slot that may only be used for cult spells.
    Defensive Curl I: Expend an action of opportunity and 5 SP to gain 10% damage resistance and 5% curse prevention chance for the round.
    Weapon Master I: May learn one additional maneuver per weapon.

    Renate
    Harvester: 10% chance that combats drop an additional 'material' type item.
    Sparkler I: Improves trinket potency slightly.
    Spell Recovery I: Speed multiplier may not be lower than 1.00 in any round after you attempt to cast a spell but it has no effect.  Refunds 25% of MP spent.

    The group returns to the bridge area.

    Spellbooks permit a magic job roll to record a spell into the book.  A spellbook normally provides a bonus to this roll (Sarnor's should be a +6).  Attempting this expends the spell scroll in question, whether or not you pass the magic check.


    The party makes it back to the steel doors, where a bungaloo of monsters are lying in wait!

    This engorged rabbit has swirling fur patterns of purple and black.  It's (one, two?) buck teeth fade into the air, flickering in tandem with the bunny's laser-like eyes.  Dwarves or any character with a basket-weaving capacity of one or higher may make a basket-weaving check for farther identification.

    Borgrun does not see the flickering or fading.  He clearly sees two oversized teeth jutting from the creatures upper lip, and menacing laser eyes.
