    Lol, I approve. Although I'm lacking backgrounds, I'll start this today or tomorrow (post the IC), and hope things clear themselves up the hard way. As for letting you just delete your own posts, as far as I can tell it's impossible. I went through and deleted all your triforce posts, since I assume those are the ones you desired removed.

    The game starts as monsters begin to appear out of thin air around Yilsee, slaughtering any and everything that seems to breathe. People naturally have fled from the countryside to the town, gathering before a Cathedral of the Four and Two. There a plan of action seems to be under discussion...

    EDIT:: Okay, so I lied. I ended up hanging out with Elite all day, and then Kyuce yesterday. Will do this today. After I wake up.

    If you want, but as of right now the map doesn't really matter. The game will have both roleplay/battle aspects, and while we're in a purely roleplay section you don't really have to announce exact space and such.

    Yep, (x,y), but for some reason the 'y' is positive and descending (thanks a lot gamemaker). And I'm oh so very sorry for not making this plainly obvious, but your minor character does not participate in the first chapter. Its okay if their around and such, but there must be a reason for them not to fight this chapter, or the next one, and possibly the one after that, until I as mighty GM desire to bring them in.

    And yeah, some of the pictures I put up may not be perfect fits, but I'm just trying to add a bit of atmosphere.

    I was giving a chance for Rock and Nail to respond, as well as others to reconsider the use of the minor character. The original intent of minor characters is to have a list of units I can pull on when I want to increase the size/function of the party at any time during the game (say, chapter 16x). Since a number of days have passed, I'm going to proceed. Feel free for your character to approach mine even as I address other characters (maybe you didn't gain the courage until a bit after my call for help). I want to keep the pace of this game faster than the others, so please try to check on it regularly and keep up.

    The battle has officially started. You can format your post as you wish, but do clearly denote the actions you take, preferably aside from narrative text. Does anyone have any questions or need a general refresher on fire emblem rules?

    oh and the V thing you gave me... It heals right? and what does the 3 mean? 3 uses?

    Congrats to Ethan, who has died on the very first turn.

    1)  The sprite you selected is the General sprite, for the prestige class.  You may modify the knight sprite or make an entirely unique sprite (like Ethan did).

    2) It heals for 10 when you use it, and the the 3 does represent number of uses.

    3) It's updated when I post.  I'll try to check it regularly.  For example, if two of us want to attack the same guy, I need to report the damage of the first attacker so the second can make an informed decision.

    I also forgot to put the battle conditions for this chapter:


    Chapter 1 Victory Conditions
    Win: Hold out until the garrison arrives.
    Lose: Blaize is defeated or a revanent gets to the church (10:1 or 11:1).

    oh yeah, and im not really sure how my stats compare... Is 7 def enough to take a hit or two? or when i go shove my head up their arse will they just clench and implode my brains like ethan's?

    @French: Those are the numbers I rolled to-hit.  For example, where you see (70) means I rolled a 70 to-hit when the revanent was attacking Ethan.  Ethan has 5 speed and a rotten claw has a 80% hit rate, meaning a roll of 70 or lower would have resulted in the revanent hitting Ethan (which it did).  If Ethan had any luck, he would not have been hit.

    @Rockem: 7 DEF means you take 3 damage from revanent A, 2 from C, and 1 from B.  You can tank very well.  Also, I don't see a sprite in that post.  Am I missing something?

    Also, the IC post has been edited to include the bottom enemy tags.  I had forgotten them.

    I can see the sprites now.  I don't mind putting that on the field, but I tried to make a version of it more in line with the other sprites, the primary difference being the outlines.  I'll use whichever you prefer:

    Also, I'd like to point out that the houses at 10:10, 13:10, 13:3, and 15:3 are all visitable, since I'm not sure if all of you are used to that graphic/mechanic.
