I went through three antimailware programs before getting to this one and you know what?

Now onto fixing my lag spike probkem...

Lol, I got redirected by Hapli once. Than Norton was all like "hey, we need you to restart your computer for a sec." Never saw it again. Wonder why it picked Daemon tools...

This was the second time I got this virus. The first time was easy to get rid of but this one got an upgrade.

Ugh, I think the lag is getting worse! I have a bad feeling that I got a faulty hard drive and it is slowling dieing. At this rate I dont think i would be able to play warcraft alright.

I really don't think your issue is the hard drive... To test it you could attempt to play something off of your terabyte and see how that runs.

The easiest way to fix your lag(and virus) would be to re-install the operating system(After formatting your drives)... If the lag remains then it is more than likely a hardware issue.

Apperently Nividia Graphics cards like to throttle back the mother fucking voltage when it gets too hot so performance gets killed and my 70+fps dies to 5 fps untill the temp goes down and the process restarts.
So I have a heat issue.
BUT I EXPECTED HEAT NOT TO BE AN ISSUE WHEN I GOT THIS GAMING LAPTOP!!!

Solution
1. Force fans to go faster
2. Find a way to diable the throttle or at least increase tolerance
3. get some compressed air and clean out heat sync
4. Play in the fucking North Pole

I feel like I should delete the above post out of principle.

But anyway, considering your setup, your fans blow back into the wall and in a way trap the heat. I'd see if you couldn't re-orientate things either. Both Kyle and I have compressed air you can use.

I just cleaned out the bottom of my come cause there wew a bunch of papers there.
Also removed stuff from the back and moved it forward more.
Overrode the fans to spin at 5000rpm before I start a game.

I tested it withabout an hour of play and the temp climed a lot lower. I stoped when it hit 71 C but I dont think the problem is resolved. And I would love it if I could use that air, I think dirt may be the main problem. I just got my cooling pad and swung it around to find dust flying off of it.
