Back-Story: I never got a chance to ask about how i came to live at the Goliath Village. I fit in very well among the other children secluded in our prestige mountain village. The Goliaths Valued Strength, so as i aged i was quickly accepted as a guard, and occasionally a hunter.
On our way back from a fail Barroth Hunt our troop saw black smoke in the distance. We rushed home to find utter devastation. Our crops where burnt and our women's corpses left rotting across the streets. We tracked the devils back to their camp to find a nomadic hoard of orcs. We Slaughtered every last one of them. We mutilated their corpses to the point that their god wouldn't even recognize them.
My brothers and i pared ways after that. I lived as a Hermit for years after that, trying to find a purpose. I traveled for a great deal of time, coming across a magnitudes of both friendly and unfriendly creatures. I surpassed every challenge set in my path. I defeated many foes but none i hated more than the Black Wyrmlings.
The tricky little bastards where different than the usual hostiles. They used there surrounding to stalk and set traps. I slaughtered a few scouting parties before fining their den. They nested in a large cave on the edge of the marsh. The guards outside where rummaging through an unfortunate travelers wagon when i sprang from my hiding spot and wedged my sword through their hearts. I fought my way though their damned breeding ground slaughtering wyrmling after wyrmling. My blade danced as i fought to the tune of increasing shrieks of the den mother.
I found her ready for battle. The great black dragon Onyxia spared none of my time, charging for me as i entered the room. The battle was long and glorious. I repealed her attacks as she endured mine. After a great swipe i lay weaponless on the ground, the great she dragon standing before me. As she was about to make the final blow a shiny silver light came down and repealed her evil.
I awoke later to find my wounds completely healed(and the great black dragon's treasure stash unguarded). I collected the spoils and reflected on events past. Although i was defeated, i was spared.
My travels went on as normal. At night i began to dream. I saw Wars, triumph and loss. A thousand years of unknown evil. Great dreams of glory and nightmares of pain. I eventually accepted these dreams. Events of the past? Scenes from the future? I did not know. I studied these dreams. Watched the blunder of evil. The tactics of secession and fail strategies. I trained mentally in my sleep and physically during the day. I trained relentlessly mastering my blade form and strength.I prepared myself, but for what i didn't know.
The silver light came to me and at once i accepted. Without knowledge of why i accepted the chance i was given. I would forever stand from this day on for glory and justice to the righteous dragon-kind. I would up-hold good and slay the wicked and evil.
I sat still meditating for days. Eventually a silvery shell began to encase my un-moving body. I sat in that shell for day, Changing and growing. After the second day i broke free from my shell and reveled in my transformation. I had become my Father's kin and accepted his mission as my own. I obtained the name Kornari from my father and was told of a hoard of red dragons threatening the safety of a local town. In an instant i set off in my new form, eager to rid the world of my evil nemesis.
I raided The red dragons lair. I met up with a few of my new brother early morning and attacked that afternoon. We were swift and deadly. We easily Broke through to the brood mother. The red mother was relentless and powerful. She struck down two of us before I took a claw to the chest, flew back and passed out. I awoke to find the red dragon's corpse on top a dying brother. He had slain the dragon right after taking a fatal lash to the neck. I comforted him in his final moments speaking of forever glory to the platinum dragon. Once again, only i survived.
The spoils of the nest were fantastic. Gold and precious gems as far as the eye could see. Amount the gold i found an ancient tomb. The tomb held many secrets. The book was written in some odd language and about half translated into dragonic by its former owner. I read the book and took to its promises of power. I could slay a thousand brood mothers had i this promised power. I set my mind toward this book. It spoke of complicated ritual. I followed its instructions exactly. Through weeks of preparation i finally succeeded in casting the spell. The room lit up with a flurry of colours and began drawing me towards the center. I accepted It as the light consumed me.
I later awoke in a library of all things. I stood up and almost fell due to me severely weakened state. The spell had sapped my strength. I was no stronger than a child. Stranger yet, this human girl has pledged to be my slave. Normally i wouldn't accept such an insult to my prowess but being in my weakened state, I had no other choice but to accept her assistance. The tiny human and library wench has mentioned a nearby village(no doubt the one i saved from the red dragons).
I spent the last of my gold preparing for the ritual, perhaps i can find a hot meal and some work there until my father calls again. I just hope im not needed until my strength fully returns.

"The Once and Future King", England's legendary hero, King Arthur.
He is a hero well known as the model for knights, but it is said that he actually did exist.
The real King Arthur was called "Dux Bellorum", the king of battles, and he was a great leader who led the tweleve kings of Northern England (Gododdin) against foreign invasions by such people as the Picts and the Scottish.
The identity of the real great leader, king Arthur, has many variations, anf there is even an opinion that there were two people that correspond to the king.
One was a pure Brition, Arthur. The other was a Roman, Arturius.
This opinion states that the legend of King Arthur that is known today as one story, merged from the accomplishments of there two.
The legend of King Arthur is all too famous.
The exceptional merlin prepared a sword and said, "Whoso pulleth out this sword of this stone is rightwise king of England."
When Arthur pulled out the sword he was recognized as the king of England, and with the Knights of the Round Table gathered around him, he went through many adventures.\
Arthur was the child of the King of britain, Uther Pendragon, and the wife of his servant Duke Cornwall, the blue-eyed Igraine.
As a price for Merlin's assistance is ensuring the success of his love for Igraine, he had to leave their child in Merlin's care.
"I will properly guide this child, one bearing a great destiny, and protect him from the crisis of the royal family."
Merlin entrusted Arthur to Uther's loyal knights, Sir Ector, and Arthur was raised as his adopted child until the day he pulled out the chosen sword.
The days of battle and troubles that followed after he pulled out the sword and became king became a great story of medieval knighthood.
The great deeds of King Arthur, ruling over Camelot as the great king of knights, and saving England by leading many great men, are all one could ask from a hero.
Arthur's all too famous sword, the holy sword Excalibur, was not the chosen sword. Rather, it was a treasured sword of fairy land given ti him by the lady of the lake under merlin's guidance after he lost the chosen sword.
After giving King Arthur the holy sword Excalibur, the fairy princess of the lake, Vivian, became his guardian.
King Arthur's lifelong enemy, princess Morgana, was an existence opposed to Arthur's guardian Vivian, but Morgana herself was also a fairy of the lake that protects the king.
King Arthur orded the Knights of the Round Table to search for thr "Holy Grail".
In the King Arthur legend, the search for the Holy Grail comprised the core episodes in the story of the Knights of the Round Table, but only three knights were commanded to search and King Arthur himself did not go on the journey.
Of the three knights, the perfect knight Lancelot did not make it to the Holy Grail due to his unfaithful flirting, and his son Galahad did obtain the Holy Grail but abandoned it due to his lack of greed.
The end of the legend was marked by King Arthur's death.
Arthur's life had been sought many times by the princess Morgana, his older sister by a different father. At the end of the battle between him and the knight Mordred, born from princess Morgana;s scheme, his legend closes its curtain.
King Arthur's fall started when his most trusted knight Lancelot disappeared, after becoming ashamed about his affair with Arthur's wife Guinevere.
Losing his trusted knight, losing the sheath of the holy sword, and even losing his own country while on a long expedition, King Arthur faces his last battle in the land of Camlann.
The holy sword Excalibur was entrusted to Sir Bedivere on King Arthur's deathbed, and he returned it to the lady of the lake.
King Arthur's corpse was carried by the ladies of the lake to Avalon, the land where heroes sleep. A legend is handed down that King Arthur will awaken from his sleep in Avalon when England is in peril, so that he can save his homeland.
Arthur bears the red dragon that symbolizes the British people, and he himself has the attributes of the dragon. Since he has the karma of the dragon, the embodiment of divine mystery and the transcendent, he has strong magical qualities. On the other hand he is weak against heros who have defeated dragons in the past.
Hisui is an orphaned child brought to the Tohno Mansion at an early age. Hisui, and her sister Kohaku were brought to the house for the express purpose of aiding Makihisa Tohno, patriarch of the family, to overcome his demon blood through their abilities as "Synchronizers", or beings that enable the transfer of energy. This transfer of energy is performed by the exchange of bodily fluids, such as another drinking their blood, but it is strongest in the act of intercourse. Hisui, however, was never forced to utilize her abilities as a Synchronizer because of the pleas of Kohaku and instead found herself playing outside every day with Shiki and Akiha. Her childhood was pleasant, and even though she is not naturally an active person, upon seeing Shiki playing so energetically she did her best to keep up with him.
Throughout the course of the Tsukihime game, Hisui plays the role of cleaning maid to the Tohno family. Always wearing her western maid uniform, Hisui can always be found tidying up the lobby, dusting the rooms of the mansion or waiting for Shiki to return at the gates. During the Hisui and Kohaku routes, Shiki mixes the two maids up, believing Kohaku to have been the girl he always played with and Hisui the girl who stayed in the mansion. Hisui's demeanor has changed so much, that rather than being the active girl he knew as a child, she has become severe and emotionless. Hisui, due to the fact that she knows of the abuse inflicted upon Kohaku, refuses to let any male so much as touch her, the one exception being Shiki later in her path.
Following Hisui's route, more and more about her personality and who she truly is is revealed. Rather than the stern, immovable young lady she appears to be, Hisui is revealed to be a kind, loving and emotional girl, hiding her emotions to keep her sister as she is. Becoming a daily part of Shiki's life, Hisui wakes him up every day and prepares his uniform. However, she is hiding a darker secret, as she knows of her sister's plans for the downfall of the Tohno family, and after Shiki becomes paralyzed due to Tohno SHIKI stealing his life energy, Hisui offers her ability to Synchronize with Shiki so that he can stop SHIKI. In her True Ending, Midday Moon, Akiha is murdered by SHIKI, and Kohaku commits suicide to end her "doll's existence". Hisui comes to a peaceful, if not entirely sorrow-free, existence with Shiki. In Hisui's Good Ending, Dreams of Sunshine, Akiha barely escapes death from SHIKI, and Kohaku is saved from the poison she takes to kill herself when Shiki cuts the "lines" of the poison within her. Forgetting her past and what she has done, Kohaku is renamed "Nanaya", and returns as a peaceful maid to the Tohno Mansion.
The Simple Summary This trick works by abusing time hop to send your psicrystal days forward in time, and forced dream (Magic of Eberron 104), which will return him back in time to the moment you manifested time hop. Doing so will undo whatever caused your party to wipe, because the psicrystal's Dream began before you time hopped it. (Presumably while you were all alive and kicking.)
There's a couple of other things you'll need to make it work, below:
Abstract With this trick one is able to create "save" game points, with a minimal cost of 15 XP for psionic contingency. The trick allows one to adventure for a day and then reload the save game point if something went awry.
Ingredients: Forced Dream (Magic of Eberron 104) Anticipatory Strike (Complete Psionic 78) Time Hop (Mass version lasts longer, for a full day of adventuring) Psionic Contingency A Psicrystal Status Imbue with Spell Ability Metamorphosis - needed if your DM ignores Player's Handbook 177 that states a creature can suppress racial resistances/immunities to magic. Sending Stones [Optional magic item] (Complete Arcane 150, 15K per linked pair)
Forced Dream: Psion/Wilder 3 [Paraphrased] Any time during the 1 round/level duration (or minutes per level with 4 pp augment), you can spend a swift action to restart your turn. As forced dream says, "When this effect is used, everyone and everything is reset to the state they were at when the subject's turn began. Any spells or abilities used are available again, any damage dealt is healed , any effects incurred are negated, any objects or creatures moved are reset to their original position, and so on. The only exception to this is that any power points spent to manifest forced dream are not recovered..." Forced dream ends when the swift action to do this is expended or when the duration expired.
The Trick Manifest psionic contingency on your psicrystal placing a contingent ancipatory strike on him contingent on the event: returns to the normal time stream from a time hop.
If desired, share metamorphosis with your psicrystal to transform him into something that isn't immune to mind-affecting compulsions. Heck you could transform him into an object of any size if you wish. (Player's Handbook 177 states a creature can suppress racial resistances and immunities to magical/psionic effects, meaning metamorphosis is just for show.) Have the party Cleric use imbue with spell ability on the psicrsytal so that it can use the spell status. (A Spell to Power Erudite, Cerebremancer, Psychic Theurge or someone with an item can cast status himself.) Mix with affinity field if you wish the psicrystal to have knowledge of all party members' condition, though this requires a level 9 (!) power.
The psicrystal casts status on you or whatever party member you choose. This person's condition will determine whether or not the save state will be reloaded, so choose carefully. NOTE: Status will NOT work across planes! Be careful!
Manifest forced dream on your psicrystal at some time before you fear harm will befall you. Ready a standard action to manifest a contingent time hop on your party (+2PP per target) when the psicrystal moves. Tell the psicrystal to do so, advancing him hours / level ahead in time. With enough ML you can advance your psicrystal nearly a day. Adventure on your merry way, whilst your psicrystal is outside the time stream.
If your party succumbs to a TOTAL PARTY KILL, your psicrystal will still be alive and kicking the next day. No time will pass for him and when he comes out of the time hop and the contingency will grant him sufficient actions to check the status of the party, provided they are on the same plane as the psicrystal. (If on another plane, there's a 5% chance of failure.) The psicrystal may also use a Sending Stone to ask whether his master would like to reload or not. If the party member is under a certain condition or if the master tells the crystal to, the save state is reloaded as the psicrystal spends a swift action to return to the beginning of his turn, which began with you manifesting time hop on him right before he started moving. You may now retry whatever you failed to accomplish.
Hmph, I think I should edit my original mind-switch thread. The most optimal way to gain a body permanently is no longer true mind switch. It's to use astral seed + mind switch + psychic chirurgery. The result is an XP expendature of 0 XP, that's right zero. You lose no levels, and you gain all the effects of true mind switch.
Anyways, so in lieu of what I just said above, the most optimal way to create the most un-optimal character is to use the following sequence and build:
Race: Elan Build: Telepath 20 Feats: Any, must have EK(Astral Seed) and skill focus (craft [basket weaving])
1. Acquire a loaf of bread (2cp) 2. Turn the bread into a sandwich (craft DC 5) (probably 2 minutes) 3. Polymorph the sandwich (preferably ham with mustard, pepperoni, salami, and jalapenos) into a fuzzy little bunny. (NPC casting 1200 gp) (1 standard action) 4. Cast astral seed (10 minutes) 5. Ritualistically slay yourself with favored method of suicide. Be sure to place your storage crystal next to the sandwich turned bunny. (I prefer to be killed with a dagger to the heart... :shifty: ) (Approximately 5 rounds) 6. Use mind-switch (the 6th level power) to switch with the rabbit, while in your storage crystal. (1 std action) 7. Metamorph into a troll and smash your storage crystal (now containing the mind of a sandwich). (2 standard actions) 8. Use psychic chirurgery to remove your negative level gotten from committing suicide. (10 minutes) 9. Dismiss your metamorphosis and manifest dispel psionics on yourself (to dispel the polymorph). (2 standard actions)
Congratulations, your ascention to the sublime state of a sandwich took: 23 minutes 6 seconds and costed you 1200.02 gold pieces.
Any one have a more optimal method?
Now, it occurred to me that this might not be a half bad character to play. So long as you pick up the power psionic overland flight and tweak your character levels a bit, you could seriously play a sandwich. Of course your hitpoints or AC wouldn't be much to speak of... but honestly, who is going to kill the sandwich that the fighter packs.
Polymorph Target: Willing living creature touched.
^^^^Does not include sandwiches. Though you could just metamorph. "Whom dares infringe upon my lands?" <- Angry Dragon "Mr. Salami, the king's foremost advisor." <-follower/hireling
If I were the DM I might have to ban Forced Dream, not because I have anything against resets, save states, or complex clever ideas, but because simply remembering what did and didn't happen at time X may prove to be too difficult.

The Enchantment System There are two types of cyrstals: small (enhancement) and big (augment). Gear may be forged with up to 10 small slots for the price a +1 bonus per slot. To activate the bonus, a small crystal must be placed into the slot (maximum bonus gained this way= 5).
Gear may also be forged with any physically viable number of big slots (once it has a potential +2 bonus). An Augment crystal is enchanted by having one required spell of the enchantment being cast into it (craft magic arms and armor required). For the enchantments of an augment crystal to have any effect an equal amount of +1 bonuses must be sacrificed. A wielder of augmented gear can spend a full round action (provokes AoOs)to refocus which enchantments he or she is using in an augment crystal(s) and how many +1 bonuses are being sacrificed.
