I hand my pencil over to Strax and smile. After he is done i gladly take the pencil and walk to catch up with the others, stringing my bow and knocking an arrow.

Through my travels I've come to trust messages written on doors in blood. Id recommend we take the redwood door..

"Wait a moment," I say before walking toward the door. I pause a moment to catch my breath and calm my heart. "There could be danger," I say as I examine the door. (Sense check for danger. Roll 5 + 2 = 7. Jesus Christ, don't ask me to roll for something critical, everyone, I'm getting shit rolls :p)

Sarnor glances at the door for a moment and idly thinks about why this Mr. Deth carved his name in it. He shrugs off the errant thought and continues down the corridor. ( Perception 1d20+6=18 to notice anything in passing.)

I write "Logan Straxus" on the wall where I can find space. I then whisper to myself, "I'm on my way guys." Unable to stop the tears coming down my face I put on my mask and return the writing tool. I draw my weapons and follow the group, staying closer to the front. I uses my sense to warn me of any upcoming danger. (Sense roll 1d20+2=3)

@Elite:: my track records looking pretty bad.  You smelt a strong mixture of paints, ink, and blood at that wall.

@Raxis:: you are unable to glean any information regarding the safety of that door.

@Nailo:: your danger senses are obviously sorely lacking.

    >Party continues down corridor, passing six dwarf statues.
    >Party encounters munstars!  Combat mode begins.
    >No surprise round.
    >Round 1 begins.

    Giant Rat A appears!
    Giant Rat B appears!
    Giant Rat C appears!
    Giant Rat D appears!
    Grey Loopah A appears!
    Grey Loopah B appears!

    New creature encountered: Giant Rat
Much like an ordinary rat.  Except larger.  Like almost person-tall if it could stand.  A bit gaunt, and very carnivorous judging by its slathering jaw.

    New creature encountered: Grey Loopah
This hovering creature has a body in the shape of upturned tear drop.  It is light grey in color and is just larger than a human torso.  It is encircled by a halo of the same color right below its midsection.  Its mouth spans half the circumference of its head, ending in a twisted swirl of flesh.

You may post your action(s) for the round.  In round-based events, always roll for initiative (speed * speed multiplier, the multiplier being (50+1d100)%).  Do not round initiative.  You can ready an action (readied actions are actions which only occur if a specified event also occurs) or elect to go after another participant if you so desire (if said participant does not act, neither do you).

From here on out, the first post you make per page will include your character header (character name, current HP/MP/SP, max HP/MP/SP, current threat level, and any conditions or status effects the character may be under, including remaining durations if applicable).  If anything in your header changes, your next post must include it to show the changes.

For hit chance and proc chance, roll 1d100 and type in the format: (the roll)(out of)(weapon hit chance+3%*skill).  In this way I can reduce the hit chance+skill value by the creature's dodge skill behind the screen, and see if your roll is still under that modified value.  Low hit chance & proc chance rolls are better.

Where does the 1d100 roll come into play in the weapon hit chance +3% * skill calc?

If the d100 is less than the hit chance+skill-dodge, the attack is a hit. Some of us are currently on mumble, if you'd like to join. You're always welcome in the channel at any time.

Loopah B casts Wind Hammer on Renate!
A heavy blast of air slams into Renate, dealing 12 physical crush damage.
The forceful blast threatens to knock Renate prone.
Loopah B rolls 37/(75-5*Renate's luck) to knock her down (Prone creatures have -30 hit chance).

Loopah A casts Wind Hammer on Strax!
A heavy blast of air slams into Strax, dealing 12 physical crush damage.
The forceful blast threatens to knock him down, 43/(75- 5*luck).

Ly'lana lodges an arrow in Giant Rat A!  It squeals.

Borgrun swings at Giant Rat A!  He misses.

Giant Rat A claws at Ly'lana for 8 physical slash damage (47/86).

Sarnor whacks Loopah A upside its whole body!
Loopah A hovers limply from its injuries!

Renate launches an arcane bolt at Giant Rat A!
It sizzles its fur!  Giant Rat A is injured.
Renate procs!  Renate regains 1 MP.
    Renate is at full mana...

Giant Rat C claws at Sarnor for 8 physical slash damage (58/86)

Giant Rat D claws at Malica for 8 physical slash damage (12/86)

Malica casts Melt Flesh on Loopah A!  It doesn't seem to have any effect...

Giant Rat B claws at Strax dealing 8 physical slash damage (76/86).
The infectious swipe threatens Strax's health with rot (14/22 proc)!
Should he succumb, he gains the 'rot' magic curse for the next 3 rounds, dealing 8 magic wither damage each round.  Since Strax hasn't taken his turn yet, he would also take the damage this round.

Strax smacks Giant Rat B with his wooden sword!  It squeals.

    Round Two Begins!

I stand up and stares at the little wind demon. Ignoring the little mousie snapping at my heels i wipe the blood off my face in disbelief. I let out a loud bellowing laugh and begin speaking.
"It's been a long time since something has made me bleed my own blood. I hope you read for the consequences."

(I believe thats the end up my turn, assuming standing up is an action)
