Book 1: The Lost Mine of Phandelver Lost_m10

Hey ya'll. Going to be starting a new adventure for D&D 5.0 and thought what better place to start than with the adventure that comes in the starting box? This is the Lost Mine of Phandelver and is for 4-5 level 1 characters that will take them to level 5. The campaign setting for this one is the good old Forgotten realms that we have only ever played once... sort of (remember Waterdeep?) You will all start on the road south of Neverwinter that lies west on the continent along the sword coast.

    Here is a Map
    Spoiler:

    Intro
In the city of Neverwinter, a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker asked you to bring a wagonload of provisions to the rough-and-tumble settlement of Phandalin, a couple of days’ travel southeast of the city. Gundren was clearly excited and more than a little secretive about his reasons for the trip, saying only that he and his brothers had found “something big,” and that he’d pay you ten gold pieces each for escorting his supplies safely to Barthen’s Provisions, a trading post in Phandalin. He then set out ahead of you on horse, along with a warrior escort named Sildar Hallwinter, claiming he needed to arrive early to “take care of business.”

-Think about how your characters came to know their dwarf patron, Gundren Rockseeker or how/if they know the other player characters. Your backstories can be anything really and if your want to go in depth I believe there is a wiki entirely devoted to the Forgotten Realms. Go crazy but do remember that you ARE level 1.

-Remember to include Background, Traits, Ideals, Bonds, and Flaws as detailed in Chapter 4 of the players handbook. You can use the Feats and Multiclass optional rules.

-I will PM you the link to the campaign page so you can make your character. If you do not have the link yet then read this message again.
When you get there there will be 5 open entries, grab one and name it your screen name and the next time I get on I will make it yours.

-You HAVE to fill out and keep an updated character sheet on roll20 (I'm looking at you Ippy) it makes it real easy for my to glance at a character sheet and make calls about magic items, Monsters, skills, ect.

    Side Note
I am pretty sure that there are four people from our typical gaming group that are up to play, the fifth (Being Loki) has the same problem as before where he is in very different time zone than us. As a result we have a 5th slot open and I welcome you to invite anyone that may be interested or would like to play; even if they have never played before. The adventure came with 5 pre generated characters that each give some detailed instruction on how to level up.
This all is moot however if Loki finds a way to exist at the same time we all usually have free time.

    Side note 2
If there is something in your backstory that you do not want other players to know just pm me.
